Antique Iberian emeralds gold earrings

A dazzling pair of museum quality antique Iberian pendeloque / chandelier earrings (collector's item) in 18K Gold, Silver, Emeralds and Diamonds. Superbly preserved, they date back to the beginning of the 18th century (1730 approx.). 20 step cut Colombian emeralds (ct. 11 approx.) and a set of sparkling antique rose cut diamonds decorate the earrings. The galleries have ornate detailings and are fitted with three droppers with a hinge in the center to allow them to swing and dance freely. The earrings preserve its original clip hooks and are divided into three bodies ("night" version), the upper can be separated and worn indipendently ("day" version). Two antique hallmarks are on the earrings (one with the initials of the goldsmith). These earrings are not just jewelry, they are a piece of history, a reflection of the elegance and sophistication of the 18th century Spain.
