From ancient times the snake has been a symbol of good luck and smartness. Used in jewellery by Egyptians, Greeks, Romans etc. as bracelet, collier, and rings. This antique ring is of the end of 19th century, well symbolizing a nice snake, with emerald, diamonds and 12K gold (touchstone checked). From Rome. It is in perfect condition.
