Here we present a little marvelous pair of antique earrings in Malachite representing the Bacchus mythos with a full round head of Bacchus with a masterpiece quality in the carvings of the detailed leaves and bunches of grapes. Down an amphora of wine in....malachite and gold. It is a 19th century pair of earrings of Top quality execution for the carving and the gold mounting. A typical souvenir of the Grand Tour period second half of 19th century for special customers. An old hallmark is on the hooks. From a Roman Grand Tour collection. 14K Gold (touchstone tested).
