Antique Napoleon enamel snuff box

Description:

An antique top quality silver snuff box decorated with a superb detailed hand painted vitreous enamel portrait of Napoleon. All around ther are 76 small rubies to embellish this perfect realistic portrait of the Emperor. The silver case is all around engraved and enamel. The inside is gilded. An old hallmark is visible on the back. French beginning of  XIX century. Unfortunately some damages are visible on the corners of the enamel image.
