Victorian angelskin Baccante gold cameo brooch

Description:

A big and beautiful Victorian Angelskin Baccante cameo set in a gold brooch / pendant. The Baccante were followers of Bacchus during the Baccanale wine-festivals . The hand-work carving is very delicate and accurate ( wine grapes and leaves). Neapolitan work end of XIX century.  14K gold. It is in perfect condition.
