An antique very nice tortoiseshell gold snuff box with a detailed miniature painting on ivory representing the Tarantella ( the typicall Neapolitan dance ). The folk dancers are in a nice movement and dressed in colorful clothes. All around a nice sea landscape with theVesuvius on the left. Signed C. N. Naugriani. A gold frame is around. Naples; a Grand Tour souvenir. Mid of XIX century.
