Small but beautiful, these antique natural pearls earrings are from Sicily second half of the 19th century. The Sicilians fished pearls in the east mediterrenean coasts and used them also for jewellery since centuries. These round earrings with a big drop pearl are very beautiful and nice to wear. The Gold has filigree patterns. Second half of the 19th century from Sicily. An old hallmark is on the hooks. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition.
